Founder, trainer and acupuncturist, BODY TIPS

Keiichi Kameda

Keiichi Kameda has worked with bodies for 26 years, as an acupuncturist and as a trainer.

He brings both perspectives together — easing the body, and helping it move — and starts every session by understanding yours.

Easing the body, and helping it move

As an acupuncturist, he has worked on easing the body. As a trainer, he has worked on helping it move. Because he knows both, he isn't tied to a single method, and looks at what your body needs now. Acupuncture, bodywork and training are the tools for that.

His path

After university, he worked for several companies, then studied in the United States for about a year and a half. He went on to work for a foreign airline for about five years, and then went to acupuncture school to take another chance at his dream of working in sports.

He qualified as an acupuncturist in 2001 and began working as a team trainer for corporate sports teams, including women's basketball and rugby. After leaving team sports, he has worked as a conditioning trainer supporting the health of everyday people.

In August 2010 he opened BODY TIPS in Shibuya, running it with his staff, and moved it to Omotesando in spring 2015. Since May 2012 he has also held seminars where both fitness professionals and the general public can learn about the body.
